• Eco-aspect: bamboo is technically a type of grass, not wood. Just as grass bamboo grows back by itself, so there is no danger of deforestation.
• Hardness: by compressing the bamboo, it becomes harder than most exotic wood species; it is at least 2.5x harder than white oak
• Stability: strand woven bamboo has hardly any movement in thickness and length and in width it has an expansion-contraction rate that is 2x less than solid oak
• Fire resistance: strand woven bamboo has a class Cfl-S1 fire rating, which makes it also suitable for commercial projects
• Slip resistance: by using certain coating to finish the top surface, a slip resistance of R10 can be reached, again making strand woven bamboo suitable for projects
• UNICLIC: the compressed material is so stable that we can mill the patented UNICLIC click system in the solid products. This is very unusual, but a big advantage for a solid product. The click system ensures an easy, clean and quick installation.
• Commercial & residential: thanks to the compression and hardness (up to 9 Brinell vs Oak which is limited to 3.6 Brinell), all strand woven bamboo products are suitable for commercial use: offices, restaurants, schools, airports, etc.
